Hello everybody! Welcome to my new website. We’re just getting started over here just in time to blog about Wai: Hawaiian Fresh Water Songs, Lau Hawaiian Collective’s upcoming project in partnership with Hamline University’s Center for Global Environmental Education
ā
I would like to reserve two tickets for seniors for the event at Hamline U. on May 11th at 8p.m.
Thank you.
Hi Ruth!
I’ll hold two senior tickets under your name for the May 11 concert. You can pick them up and pay for them at the ticket sales table that evening, or pay for them in advance on my website, http://www.kimsueoka.com (the ticket processing function is finally up and running!) Thanks so much – hope you enjoy the program!
Much Aloha,
Kim Sueoka

Kim,
I work with John Shepard and Tracy Fredin at CGEE. My wife and I and our neighbors are looking forward to your Hamline concert.
By coincidence, I’m a ukulele player too and in a St. Paul quartet called the Hula Peppers (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hula-Peppers/280983551946758) We play 20s to 40s jazz and Hapa Haole songs from the recordings of Sol Hoopii and others. Our next appearance will be at Claddagh Coffee House on West 7th this Friday at 7.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and hearing your live performance. Corey
Hi Corey,
Thanks for your message – I can’t wait to hear the Hula Peppers! I had another commitment last night, but please keep me posted about other upcoming shows!
Best wishes,
kim
