Lau Hawaiian Collective would love to do anything with Pakele Live, and we're really hoping to do some festival shows, concert series, and/or educational activities - please let me know if you have any suggestions about organizations we should sent our press materials to! My favorite piece of music - bar none - is Makana's arrangement of Ka Wailele O Nu'uanu. I hope you will record it sometime as I am sure you will give it the ultimate interpretation. Noting that you are from Koloa, I suppose you are related to Sueoka's market where I have shopped on many trips. Small world. I have suggested to Lynn Piccoli to have the Lau Hawaiian Collective on Pakele Live if that is possible. I hope to see you there one of these days.
